Anas Aremeyaw Anas has called the supposed lawsuit against his very popular Number 12 Expose’ by Kwesi Nyantakyi a bluff.
The Number 12 recorded several football and officials on camera suspected to be engaging in various bribery scandals.
The revelations in the expose’ compelled Kwesi Nyantakyi who was the centre of these corrupt scandals to resign and relieve himself from all football duties at FIFA, CAF and GFA and received a 90-day ban from FIFA while investigations are underway.
Anas received many plaudits from the Ghanaian populace, however, he equally received criticisms from some who were against his methods.
Nyantakyi has sued Anas for defamation of character, following the expose’, but Anas can’t be bothered because he believes Nyantakyi won’t have the balls to face him in court.
“When I say that you have committed a crime, it means you have done it because I provide you with evidence. I am a lawyer and I take evidence very serious because if I don’t I will end up going into jail myself,” he spoke with TV3.
“All the court cases he is talking about, he is not going to do it, he knows, he knows very, very well. As far as we go by the strict rules and regulations that are supposed to govern a football guru like him, he will not get it, he will lose it.
“When I was doing Osu children’s home, that was not entrapment, when I was doing the judges, it was not entrapment. Are football people more human than judges?” Anas questioned.
