KAFUI DANKU SHARES EXPERIENCE OF HOW SHE NEARLY KILLED HER DAUGHTER

Multiple award winning actress Kafui Danku recently disclosed a very life threatening incident which could have caused critical health conditions to her little adorable baby girl.

In a facebook post, the actress shared an experience of how she nearly purchased an expired baby milk in a popular baby store in Accra.

I found this baby milk that expired 3 months ago, still on the shelve in a very popular baby store yesterday . Last month , I returned a can of another brand of baby milk that I bought because it was just a month to the expiry date . My friend who introduced me to that store told me there’s no need to ship stuffs from ‘wherever ‘ anymore and that Accra has everything baby, Now look, This is a store you trust and can just walk in and pick up food for your baby without paying attention.” She therefore cautioned parents and guardians to be circumspect and cautious in in their selection of foodstuffs and edible products for their kids and themselves as well. ” This is just a warning ⚠️ to us all, let’s pay attention to details. Maybe as adults, our system can somehow handle expired foods though it’s still very dangerous, so guardians/parents, let’s make it a point to always check expiry dates of our foods, especially baby foods.

NB: most of their baby milk are close to the date of expiry . Some are just a month , 2 or three away.”

Expired Product

Few hours after her post, the store with the name Peiva Mothercare rendered an apology for being reckless and insensitive for keeping expired products on their shelves and promised to rectify the situation.

“Ok people, the owner of Peiva’s mothercare just called and apologized for not doing away with the expired products. She promised it won’t happen again.” However, the filmmaker maintained her stance that we should check expiry date of the foods we purchase. “But let’s not forget to always check the expiry date of our foods.Akpe na mi.” She concluded.
