Uefa Champions League Quarter Final Prophecy
The final game of the champions league between the two teams isn’t going to be easy. Even though Real Madrid seem to have the upper hand talking of experience — this would be their third consecutive final in the Champions League, Real Madrid has won the Champions League on 5 consecutive occasions before from 1955 – 1960, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if they win it in Kyiv.
However, since the inception of the Champions League, these two teams have clashed just once in the final and Liverpool triumphed with a 1-0 victory over Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes, Paris during the 1980-81 season.
Liverpool’s last Champions League final appearance date as far back as 2006/07 against AC Milan which they lost by 2-1 at the Olympic Stadium in Greece. In total, Liverpool has played 7 Champions League Finals and lost only 2. Their first loss came from Juventus in 1984/85 seasons. On the other hand, Real Madrid has made 15 Champions League Final appearances and just lost the trophy on 3 occasions against Benfica, Inter Milan, and Liverpool.
Real Madrid remains the most successful club in the history of this competition with 12 Champions League titles to their name. It’s no doubt that they possess the resources and brilliance to clinch their 13th Champions League trophy at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv, Ukraine. However, in spite of all these rich history and threat Real Madrid poses we at Kingsblog.net believe that Liverpool will pull a stunt on Real Madrid.
We believe the stars are aligned in favor of Liverpool to defeat Madrid once again at the Champions League’s Final stage. Congratulations To Liverpool in advance.
