Over the past few weeks there have been several feuds, arguments and debates on the various social media platforms about who is the richest between the two musicians Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.
These arguments, debates and feuds began when the best rapper in the country Sarkodie gave Shatta Wale some hot shots in his viral song dub “Advice” attacking the dancehall king hitmaker’s personality and financial status after Shatta Wale threw a shot at the rapper saying he’s very poor in a radio interview.
Kingsblog.Net has done an extensive research to halt the argument once and for all. Who is the richest among these two musicians? Let’s begin with Shatta Wale. Let’s analyze , lot of people have chastised Shatta Wale for being too boastful about his wealth but that guy doesn’t boast he speaks the truth. If he says he has, he actually has. That’s not boasting.
Shatta Wale is no doubt one of most highly paid performers in the country, he charges as high as $60K dollars per show and he’s basically on every show. He has to his luxury a $1million mansion and possess enormous fleet of cars. The CEO and Organizer of the Shatta Movement doubles as a brand ambassador for Guinness Ghana Breweries and Storm Energy drink. With undisclosed amounts. It’s rumored that Shatta Wale possess a private jet. From his work as a musician, producer, CEO and brand ambassador, the self acclaim dancehall King is said to have a cumulative worth of around $6.2 million as of 2017. In November last year, Shatta Wale revealed that he’s likely to be worth $10 million.
On the other hand Sarkodie performs in eight out of ten major events in the country and charges some ”crazy” amount of money per a show. Hold on, he is Samsung ambassador for Ghana, fan milk Ghana ambassador and also a brand ambassador for network giant Tigo, finally, he is the C.E.O of ”Sark Clothing” (Merchandise).
Now you should see how much he was paid for all these deals. His contract figures are mostly undisclosed but it’s estimated that Sarkodie is worth $10 million and was recently listed among the richest musicians in Africa by Forbes Magazine. Forget about how much he charges per a feature with Ice Prince, Banky W among many other continental musicians plus our own home musicians.
It’s obvious the guy is loaded but as to whether he beats Shatta Wale is a million dollar question.
